“On an unexpected trip to Carstairs, we stopped for lunch at Mai Noodle House. The shrimp salad rolls were freshly made and so good. We normally order Bün, but tried Vietnamese subs for the first time and really enjoyed them. Loved the crunchy bun and tasty filling. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, sweet perfection. Best lunch out in a long time.”

“The owners took over sometime last year and the improvements have been great with refreshed tables and lighting. Really wonderful and generous people. Love their Vietnamese submarines. See attached for their updated menu. Edit: I tried one of their family dinners not long ago and it was incredible. I’ve also grown to love their slow beef stew, it is very flavourful with generous portions of tender slow braised beef.”
